  1. Beautiful Analysis of the situation - but I see this slightly differently. Hindutva sells, therefore, BJP does Hindutva and Shiv Sena used to do Hindutva. Note that Hindutva is essentially an urban educated upper-class phenomenon - and the population of India is slowly but surely turning urban, educated and upper. Sooner or later more than 80-90% of India would be urban. And BJP is now the sole carrier of this ideology now. With a super clean and a doer image of Modi, my prediction is 400 seat for BJP in the next general elections, including the next Maharastra Assembly. I guess a vast majority of the young urban electorate is more Hindutva then BJP also...so 50 years of RSS/BJP rule :-D
