  1. This is pretty appallingly bad. I knew average Japanese knew very little about WWII, but this is honestly a littler worse than I had expected. That being said, even if those millennials learned close to nothing about WWII, how could they not feel like doing their own independent research to learn the full history of happened?? WWII was just too big of an event to be ignored. Even I would do my own independent research if I were them. They do have internet access, right??

  2. This is very true. But they also messed with Iran's democratically held election some time during the 50's as well which inevitably lead to all sorts of problems for Iranians for several decades to come. And on top of that, we've placed a crippling embargo on them. All this just because Iran originally wanted to nationalize their own oil. It's sooo upsetting to me that Iran today is painted as the "bad guy" in US media news outlets when the reverse is actually true - that the US is the real bad guy here.
