Andrew Wilson I love when people are reasonable, as opposed to hard line indoctrinated and tribal. I actually have huge knock down drag outs with the "right", often. With some people it's about what they grew up around a lot more than any choice in ideology. Most people go with group think. That's something I learned to hate and have to constantly patrol my mind against, because it's our nature. I started out about like Dave with realizations, and grew to observe more and more, from there.

***** I have a good idea what I sound like to you, lol, which is why I wrote what I did. If "all terms are made up" is wrong, where did they come from? God? O_O ahh, I see there was more. Yes, it's technically true, and it was when they "made them up" someone has to do it. Ideas and language is developing daily. If it's not, that means you're in a regressive shell, or stagnant, but stagnation really doesn't exist. It's progress or regress. I've actually been using "regressive" for decades. It describes the "progressive" movement that seeks to take us from an improvement in national structure of law back to the old Oligarchical systems. The few with the big money and power in media & the ability to buy it in government dig that. Their propaganda says progressive, but in reality, it's regressive.

+Andrew Wilson You're not judging the people in the tea party. You're judging a fig newton of the media, which doesn't exist. There are some religious right who do fit that discription, but they are not huge on the tea party. The tea party cause no incidents. Not even garbage clean up needed at most rallies. There was a good amount of color, edited out. There were assholes who infiltrated, magnified by the media. CNN took film of an AR-15 at a rally, edited out the black guy carrying it, lol. That's how the media shaped opinion of the tea party, because media is basic government lap doggery at this point, of the progs in government. I don't suppose you noted coverage of the occupy wall street morons with all the crime, rape, public destruction and trash left to clean up was extremely positive? That extreme contrast in coverage should cue someone of much intelligence to heavy bias in media, and it's not far from there to gauge motive. A democrat started the tea party, not an Obama democrat, a more JFK style decent sane, democrat. There were plenty of those mixed in at rallies, and it was a higher than average educated crowd. Republicans in general are statistically higher educated than Democrats as well, if you didn't understand that.

+Arik Haydn The US has had higher success than any nation in history, due to freedoms and curtailment of corruption as a result of the Constitution. You've been getting extremely tainted statistics, obviously. To get your take on the US you have to cherry pick the negative and ignore about everything else. There is a reason people have flocked to the US since it's birth. A reason for mass immigration. People of the world voted with their feet, and they still are. I'm going to guess that conflicts with what you've learned. When in doubt, go with empirical informality.

Arik Haydn Anyone? absolutes are a red flag indication of indoctrination. The US educational system was amazing, until the Federal government got hands on it when Carter created the unconstitutional Dept of Education. It's been a slide down as the expense skyrocketed since. Private education is amazing, and home school results kick public educations ass. The UN did a rating that includes preschool as automatic positive, but reality shows that's false. Preschool isn't a positive, though it is in UN Propaganda which was obviously reverse engineered to a desired result. The UN is an extremely corrupt body. Their "information" and motives should rightfully always be suspect. They put the worst abusers on the human rights council and their history is atrocious, they haven't improved. Numbers on the Military? Well I think there is massive waste and fraud, but as far as being a humane military that regards human rights? they're about the top and by far the highest of any large power in that regard. There is a shit load of waste and politics, I'd agree with that. The US goes into action to help using our people and money and doesn't take anything for it. Who does that? I mean we've done some things recently like attacking Assad and protecting funding and arming the scum he was fighting, who is ISIS that was way fucked, but that's Obama and it wasn't voted on. Our shit in Libya was to support a huge corrupt special interest that Soros was working for. Qaddafi had been comparatively sweet to his people. Our moves in Egypt to remove Mubarak who was keeping the crazy blood thirty muslims from killing everyone else? That was fucking insane, unless you're on the Muslim Brotherhoods side, and Obama / Soros are, as well as ISIS side. Iran a horrible abuser of human rights, murderer of gays and stoned of raped women ... their people rise up and what did Obama do? Not a fucking thing. He let those people go to hell. That's not our military's fault or even our country. Obama isn't pro US at all, or our interests or established values. It depends on how deep you go. Our kids aren't getting a balanced education in Colleges any longer with very few exceptions if any. They're getting indoctrinated, lied to. Filled full of shit. You have to wonder (more like see it's likely) that billions of $ and federal involvement in Colleges have corrupted them to the point they are more propagandizing than teaching. When you look at the US under the Constitution when it was at least a large influence, the USA is an amazing country. The most advanced in the world, in history.

Sometimes to get support for something it has to be used because of how people are mentally lazy and process through group think paradigms. It's like herding sheep. They want to stay together which is useful, but the stupid fuckers could easily all follow each other off a cliff.

His Divine Shadow That sounds good in ways. People being what they are it doesn't seem very probable. Life on planet earth, (even though so many of us have benefited from being very sheltered) is very dangerous. Part of security is borders and keeping people who'd do you harm out, and building community of relatively like minded people who respect each other. Even American Indians did that, and many who couldn't hold on, like the ones before they arrived, were wiped out. People like most animals as well need to occupy space as a base for producing to provide for their lives. Ironically, and subversively, one very powerful person pushing hard for "open borders" seems to have a common theme of a quest to crash existing systems in order to bring in a centralized Oligarchic authority which seems bent on the suppression of the freedom of the rest of mankind. He's brought down a few countries, is pushing the EU hard and seems to be working on bringing down many more.

His Divine Shadow O_O that's a tad foreign to my way of looking at the world, new concept. What happens with folks who feel the need to steal stuff and kill people for power? They won't probably get all confused like me and give up on it.

His Divine Shadow Well that would be great, but knowing people I think you underestimate lazy and greed. If hard work and creativity don't pay off directly people usually won't work or pain themselves to think. Need drives motivation. Lack of need tends to create a situation where atrophication of ability is the rule. I don't think everyone in the world will have all they want without a lot of hard work. Levels of greed won't balance to even.

His Divine Shadow Sounds like a cool movie, or series. Maybe something bordering on a religion :) Treckianity or somethin. Can't fault the utopian ideals, but like laying in bed and doing just what feels good, might lack the resistance animal life seems to need to be strong. The adversity needed to sharpen the mental edges. When people get too good at life, seems they lose what got them there and life overwhelms and devours the generation that didn't work for it.
