  1. Inflation seems way more than 8%. My rent went up by more than 10%. Gas is up by more like 50%. Groceries are up by about 30%. Diesel fuel, which the country runs on, has gone up by multiples due to chronic scarcity, causing all other prices to rise. The US uses Canadian oil to make diesel. US shale oil is too light. We need those Canadian pipelines. As for the Fed, they're in cahoots with the WEF, and their goal is to destroy the middle class. If you look at everything they do, it's in line with that goal. BTW, what Jimmy refers to as "the establishment" is the Democratic Party. The party affiliation of Washington DC is over 90% Democrat. All of the federal offices are over 90% Democrat. So the Democrats don't especially fear losing elections, because they hold ALL the unelected positions and can't be unseated. Winning elections is better, of course, but they profit from fear, and losing elections periodically helps them project fear into the voting population.

  2. The shipping problems are not going away, but are worsening. And that's because we order far more from overseas than our ports can handle. It's like trying to fit a watermelon through a straw. I suspect the #1 offender is food. Food from overseas is going to be cheaper due to lower labor prices, and food has to be delivered in a steady stream. So I bet if we passed regulations aimed at bringing diversified agriculture back to America, we'd probably reduce a lot of the shipping snarl. Of course, this means we'll need more domestic fertilizer production, and that's an issue right now as well. We just can't be importing so much. Our ability to process imports and ship things long distances is not without limits, and we have reached those limits.
