  3. @ Yes, the general type of behavior is as old as humanity. It's the mentality of the immature v the mature. In ancient Greece, it's the Hedonists v the Stoics, etc. In modern western civilization, our left wing originates in the French Revolution, and may be seen in the works of the philosophers contemporary to that event, like Marx, Hegel, Malthus, and Bentham. They are the mental architects of modern progressive fake science / utilitarianism / communism.
