  1. The "Age of Enlightenment" was mainly left wing. The left thinks they are the smartest people in the room, even when they aren't, and this is why they pose as intellectuals. But the recent turn to the left, since the 80s, is a consequence of China entering into world economics, and using their money to influence politics around the globe. They have been actively turning politicians left, by buying them, turning academics further left by buying them, turning the media further left by buying them, etc. They have infiltrated western society like a fungus.
