So long as Japan has discipline of design and China lacks it, Japan will be in good shape versus China. The real problem in all of China's rivals is the willingness of the leadership at all levels to accept Chinese bribes to (in effect) open the city's gates. Fortunately for the world, just as China's grasp has begun to close its fingers, their economy blew up. Probably fewer bribe checks are being delivered, and the amounts are lower, so grip of China is weakening.

@widodoakrom3938 I don't get it. Isn't a weeb just a person who likes anime and Japanese culture? If we're talking about actual Japanese people, that doesn't sound so odd. Countries all around the world have been getting a huge dose of feminizing socialism, and I don't think it would hurt Japan to re-engage some of its testosterone.
