  1. I want to clarify, laws have not changed to reclassify dogs as pets! The law has changed in respect to the breeding of dogs for the purposes of food, these now being excluded from animal husbandry. However, it is quite apparent the implementation of the law will take a long time to enact, as there are many breeders who need to change their breeding practises.
