  3. Unfortunately no in this case. Three people hold responsibility, because normal procedure requires each to check it according to available information. The armored is the first, the assistant director should have checked it, and finally the actor using it. Obviously, none did that required check, the only question remains who is criminally liable if anyone. Mr. Baldwin has an additional problem since as a producer and on set, he should have insured all safety procedures were followed, especially since there were two earlier incidents, so is their criminal or civil liability for his negligence, as the producer, in insuring the safe operation of the filming. A very sticky situation for all.

  9.  @KC-dr3cg  With teachers actually educating, I support teachers; where teachers are saying there are no correct answers to math and math and science are racist, I give no support. My wife was a teacher, and I also have taught; my wife retired the same year that she was assaulted when she tried to stop him from attacking another student; and received a concussion that kept her off for two weeks while the student who knocked her down was back in class the next day without action. Within another few weeks he assaulted another student, and this time was suspended (the parents went to the police and threatened to sue). So, attack a teacher, and the school actively hides it and discourages the teacher from reporting it; attack a student where the school can't suppress the complaint and action was taken. This education in too many major cities. In a high school of whicht I have first hand knowledge; the had a program trying to prevent sexual relations between male and female students (the reasons were valid, disease and pregnancy); but at the same time had a club for LGB students that essentially served as a hook up point for their sexual activities. Notice anything weird about that? Educators at their 'best'.

I love the fact that former VP Biden claimed that never said he would ban fracking proves that he is either dishonest (there is multiple videos of him saying that) or mentally unfit since he can't remember what he has said. I will add he must really be out of touch with the modern world if he thought there was no video proof. His challenge to the President to show the video has already been met; proving he is either a liar willing to say whatever a group wants to hear or as I said that he is unfit.   42.  @kwixotic  The other night another armorer went over the normal procedure on a set, and the three checks that I mentioned were stated to be standard industry procedure. So all three were supposed to check if industry standard procedures were followed. After two previous incidents, there was no excuse for not following those procedures; and yes Baldwin has the additional risk of being the Producer and being on set following the earlier incidents. I see al, three facing criminally negligent homicide charges for that if his celebrity doesn't keep him safe.

As I was saying, it isn't my dislike for Baldwin, though I will say that I dislike him); but rather whether he had direct responsibility for safety or not; he was a producer and knew of safety issues (part of the reason people had walked off the set earlier in the day). There is no honest way to say that he wasn't negligent, the only question was it criminal. In my opinion it was. Given the facts he showed a wanton disregard for the safety of others or the consequences of his actions.

As a Producer on set, knowing of previous discharges of supposedly safe firearms had a responsibility to ensure proper procedures were followed . Why I feel criminal negligence is the appropriate charges for the armored, assistant director, and Baldwin as actor and Producer.

  47.  Lee harry enty  The same issue, if you are the building owner and you were aware that mislabeled fire extinguishers exist in that production batch and do nothing to deal with the issue, you are negligent. Even if Baldwin didn't have a requirement to check the firearm under industry standards; as Producer on set where previous mistakes had caused negligent discharges and you failed to insure that standards were met, you are negligent, as Baldwin is in this case.

  49.  @DavidF9511  First and foremost Mr. Baldwin has been acting for years and many of his movies involved firearms use; he should be at least somewhat knowledgeable of firearms and industry standards for their use on set. As to the actor being the all check, he is the individual actually firing the firearm, he needs to be personally aware that it is safe, especially on a set where two previous unintentional discharges took place.
