Comments by "Arthur Mosel" (@arthurmosel808) on "Person Who Leaked Intel Documents Claims They Worked At A Military Base, Report Says" video.
Depending on the classification, that will be the first element on reducing the number of people who could be the leaker. The higher the classification, the more limited are the number of people with potential access. Second who had duties requiring access to the material (possibly even limiti n g the number of actions that even received the material. I have seen it, but given what I have heard described; it probably included Top Secret and possibly (if sources or methods were mentioned) Top Secret SCI classified documents from that point AF Electronic Security Command and the other services equivalents will be able to home in on the leader. However, there is one other possibility, that the leak was from a civilian employee s with tacit permission from above. That is in a conspiracy theory realm so far; but the longer it takes to find, identify, and take action increases the odds that a conspiracy theory will be at least considered.

@TheOpenSociety777 Why I wondered about how his man supposedly got the material. There has to be much more to the story.

@pk7ghalm23 I hadn't heard that. Who, When and Where?

@pk7ghalm23 Something bothers me about this. This type of document belongs in the Intel Office unless in use. How did he get to it to copy it? What type of unit did he belong to? If I remember, there is only Air National Guard Base there, it has been a number of years, but I don't believe thar has changed.

@Weirdfanny No, my last assignment was with AF Electronic Security Command; and my clearance was TS with SCI. I was well briefed on the security system.

@Weirdfanny I forgot to add, I spent most of the rest of my time around AF Special Ops units. By the way, the clearance that I had cost between. 50,000 and $100,000 in 1979 dollars. They not only checked my records and past but my wife's and her family's (most foreign nationals overseas). I find it hard to believe that with the checks required for either TS or TS SCI that a 21 year old with questionable background could have gotten access.

@pk7ghalm23 If it hasn't changed, that Guard unit was tied to AF Special Ops, so it is conceivable that it could have received the material; my problem than is how he could have seen and copied or duplicated the material unless he was either in the intel shop or someone sc--wed up badly. I suspected some other people either were negligent in their responsibilities or complicit. I saw people separated for far less.

@pk7ghalm23 Another source indecated that he worked in the Intel Shop. Some other individuals' careers are potentially at severe risk even if they weren't directly involved.

@pk7ghalm23 An Airman 1st Class, someone above him dropped the ball or was involved. He had to be very low in the chain of command.

@brrjohnson8131 Possible, but more likely some long service NCO or Officer wasn't keeping their eye on their duty and personnel, and someone who shouldn't have been able to get away with misconduct did. Not at the same level, I took over a function that the previous command hadn't been concerned about. The people doing that job did the minimum or less. It took changing the duty uniform to st andout to keep some of them from being anywhere than where they were supposed to be. The officer that I replaced had been fired (sent home a little over a year into an accompanied three year tour) because of the damage to an aircraft that shouldn't have happened.

It has gotten weirder. A 21 year old Airman Basic with at least a Top Secret Clearance; and the way the article phrased it, he may have had Sensitive Compartmented Information access as well since the comment was the highest level top secret information and SCI is the only thing higher that I know. So, how did he obtain that level of clearance? Did his duties require access to the information that he released? Was his supervisor paying any attention to what he was doing?
