  1. It's the minorities! The usual whipping boys of the West. The thing is, I generally don't meet minorities in California who support higher taxes and more regulation they usually complain about it. If you want to understand California's politics you have to understand the rich White liberals in San Fran/Silicon Valley and LA who are not highly affected by the policies and who are strongly anti-growth.

  2.  @maverickcapitalist1  the South African situation is more complex because of the historical grievances, yes wealthy white South Africans can continue to hold on, others will leave. However, the crazy policies for South Africa will not change until the generation that fought apartheid has passed away. Until that time, the ANC has a lock because they were the only ones who spoke out against the system, the traditional rulers were complicit with the system. However, There's a bigger issue. the problem for white South Africans is the same for non-whites in the West, it doesn't matter if you can contribute, they don't want your contribution.
