  5.  @lawrencekling8598  Germany and France did everything they could to avoid Georgia's Nato membershi during Nato summit in 2008. All Nato members must agree. Besides, Nato does not want countries with war and unsolved border problems to join the pact. Russia still occupies 20% of Georgia after 2008 war. The same problem with Ukraine. Putin pays separatists in Donbas to keep Ukraine out of Nato. If Ukraine had been in Nato, Putin would have not invaded it in 2022.

  15. Nato is an excuse for Putin. Russia's neighbors joined Nato in 1999 (Poland) and 2004 (Lithuania). It's an excuse for Putin Did he wake up 11 months ago? . Russia simply does the same thing as always in history. Russia loves expanding and blames everybody around for it's own crimes using false justification. If Russia was a good neighbor, all those former Warsaw pact countries would have no need to join Nato to be secured. Putin acts like an abusive husband who blames his wife for calling the police and filing for divorce. All Putin can do is to invade non Nato neighbors.

  22. Nato expansion? Nato does not force anybody to join. Countries apply to join. If Russia was a good neighbor, there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Putin hates Nato because he ca not invade nd annex Nato neighbors. Nato is at Russia's borders for decades. Nato never invaded Russia. Russia did invde Ukraine. Nobody forces Ukraine to join West exept for Russia's crimes on Ukrainian soil. Russia has nothing to offer to Ukraine exept for poverty and more crimes.
