@kamalchandramoney3541 If Ukraine had been in Nato, utin would have not attacked. All those former soviet satelite states joined Nato because Russia was never a friendly neighbour.

Yes but he did not want USSR to collapse, he wanted USSR to be different, modern but it was pure utopia. . At one point he had to choice, he let it go.

@imtiazakand3174 My country's own experience with Russia is more than enough. I have to need to "understand Russia" as long as Russia has no respect for its neighbours, their borders and right to decide about themselves on their own.

@joexavier4070 Why should Nato promise Russia anything in the first lace? Who does Russia think it is? Nato expansion is none of Russia' s business and it's not Russia the one to decide. It's up to those countries who wants to join. It's a free will. It's not made by force.

@kamalchandramoney3541 The truth is Russia has nothing to say when it comes to nato expansion. Why should it? Former soviet satelite states are more than happy to be Nato members. Russia has nothing to offer exept for poverty and war rapes.

@bachelor3846 Why should Ukraine or others always care what Russia wants? Dictators need excuses to justify war. Nato expansion is just another excuse for Putin. USSR is gone and Russia today is simply cheap gas station. Russia is not Ukraine's daddy anymore. Putin can not stand it. Russia should stop pretending being super power bucause it is anything but.
