  2. Pretending being blind will not help you to avoid troubles in a long run. France has always been blind and naive when it comes to Russia or other dictators and could not care less about Eastern Europe's fate. This is why 1939 happened.

  8. War in Ukraine was never about Nato. Russia simply loves invading and annexing its neighbours just because it can so Nato exists for a reason. Russia's neighbours want to be secured. Putin knows he can not invae Nato member neighbours.

  10.  @erics2305  Nothing forced my country to join Nato years ago exept for our own experience with Russia's aggression on our soil over the centuries. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Russia does not own Eastern Europe. Joining Nato was not made by force unlike Warsaw pact. Russia is anything but super power. It is cheap gas station with Kalifornia's gdp which can not stand its time of glory is over. Guess what? Russia is not a spacial need baby and we are done with Russia's excuses to invade its neighbours. War in Ukraine was never about Nato. It was about Putin's greed, russian never ending imperialism and Putin's ego. Eastern Europeans are free, they are not Russia's buffer zone or puppets. Eastern Europe's safety concerns were real while Russia's concerns were Putin's paranoia and excuses. Ukraine is not Russia's backyard Deal with it. Ukraine's political path is none of Russia's bussines. Who does Russia think it is?
