  3.  @First-Last_name  I am Polish, dude. You do not have to teach me my own country's history. All I want to say is that Poland has never been a part of USSR. It was a separate state under soviet rule but it was still a separate state unlike Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia which were soviet republics and parts of USSR. They were not separate states like Poland or Romania, Chechoslovakia or Hungary. Soviet satelite and soviet reublic is not the same. They were all forced to live under Moscow commands but some were parts of USSR and some were not. Poland was a separate state and has never been a part of USSR. It had its own land, flag, leaders and national anthem. It was People's republic of Poland back then. Today is is the Republic of Poland. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH?

  5.  @First-Last_name  One last thing...There was no such country as Ukraine during cold war era. There was a country called USSR which included Ukraine. On the other hand there was a country called Poland during cold war era and there is a country called Poland today. Ukraine became independent state and separated itself from the USSR in 1991. Poland did not have to because it was a separate state anyway. What is more Poland was first post communist country to have free election. It took place in june 1989 while the fall of Berlin wall took place in November 1989. Poland was also first to respect Ukraine's new independence and borders.

  11.  @winkus8586  This is bs. I am from Poland. Russia was is and wll be a threat to its smaller neighbour. Threat is Russia's middle name. If Russia was a good neighbour there would be no need to join Nato. Putin acts like an abusive former husband who can not stand his wife left him and called the police because she did not want to be hurt anymore. Russia is neither super power nor Eastern Europe's maste. Ukraine has no nukes, Ukraine had no chance to even join Nato in the nearest future. Russia never stops, Russia has a break and come back to grab more just because it can. It is Russia which created Putin, not the opposte. All Putin can do is to invade non Nato members. Putin is too weak to face article 5 of Nato. Nato is an excuse for Putin According to many Putin's speeches he does not consider Ukraine to be a real state and he wants USSR glory back. He wants Ukraine. Nato expansion talks is bs excuse. It is Russia which keeps invading its neighbours, not the opposite. Nato would never invade a country with nukes. utin is simply paranoid and his greed and huge ego are well known.

  12.  @First-Last_name  Latvia, Lihuania and Estonia (Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus) were parts of USSR, as a country these were soviet republics (by force). Poland was never a part of USSR, the same for Romainia. Being soviet republic and being soviet satelite state it is not the same. Poland and Romania were separate states forced to live under soviet influence but they were never parts of USSR.

Soviet republics were lands which were once a part, only small pieces, of a bigger country of USSR. There was no Ukraine during Cold war era. Ukraine was only a little piece of a country called USSR. The same for Latvia, Belarus, Georgia or Lithuania and Estonia.They were SOVIET REPUBLICS Countries like Poland, Romania, Hungary, Chechoslovakia, Bulgaria were soviet satelite states. They were all forced to live under Moscow's commands, had nothing or very little to say like Belarus and Lukashenko today but were still separate states with their own land, borders, national anthems and political (puppet but still) leaders). There was a country called Poland or Romana during Cold War Era. There was no such country as Ukraine during Cold War era. Ukraine was alny a small part of a bigger country called USSR. It was not separate. It because separate state in 1991 while soviet satelite states like Chechoslovakia, Romiania or Poland has always been separate.

Russia loves invading and annexing smaller neighbours just because it can. If Russia was a good neighbour there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Putin simply wants Ukraine and does not consider Ukraine to be a real state. All the rest is another bs excuse to invade an independent neighboour. Eastern Europe is not russian backyard anymore and Putin can not stand it. Besides, it is Russia which created Putin, not the opposite.
