If I was to back in time and someone gave me a choice between accumulating a few million on bitcoin or having the experiences of an RAF fighter pilot, I'd be leaning heavily towards the latter. My son is forty-five years old and over the last six months or so, has lost thirty kilograms. Naturally, he was quite proud of his achievement and probably enjoyed the amazement on people's faces who hadn't seen him for some time. However, an overweight female work colleague "confided" in him that everyone was thinking that he'd had a gastrectomy operation as opposed to giving him credit for his personal effort. I could tell it sort of deflated him a bit. I suggested that he may want to ask the fat lady (a bit mean I know, but still) how "everyone" accounted for his continued attendance at work over that period following a surgical procedure. In fact, it was a compliment if people thought he'd achieved the impossible.
