You will be surprised to learn that Sumerian and Babylonian words can be deciphered by every Indian even today. We understand names of Sumerian and Babylonian Kings and Sentenes, We Indians are really descendants of Babylonians and Sumerians. So is there a surprise ? We share the same Mythology and Gods. In my Native Indian Langauge today, We still call our Town - "Uur", Derived from the Babylonian "Uur", One fo the earliest known Cities in the world.

Mahabharata is the Indian version of a Trojan War in Ancient India that supposedly happened sometime before 1500 B.C between 16 Indian Kingdoms. Its like a Whole Star Wars universe in itself, With Forces of Good and Evil fighting with each other using Divine Weapons (Called Astra). Astras were Ancient Magical Arrows imbued with Magical properties capable of summing Divine Creatures, Elements and Weapons. They had their own Magic effects and Counters against other Astras. Its sad how nobody has made any Anime or Super Heroes inspired by Hindu Mythology, There is so much content just lying there to be discovered.

And that is why he does not take part in the Battle. It would be unfair. He prefers to become the "Chariot Driver" of the Main Hero in the Epic, Instead.

Fun Fact : Rakshasa are calles Yasha in Japanese Mythology and are made Popular through Japanee anime like Inu Yasha and Demon Slayer. When Buddhism travelled to Japan, It influenced Shintoism greatly. Vajrayana Buddhism has Hindu Gods which influenced Shintoism. Hindu Gods like Ganesha became Mushoku Ten, Vibheeshana became Bishamon Ten, Brahma became Bon Ten in Japanese. Ninjas using Occult Hand Symbols in Anime like Naruto is derived from Buddhism, Which in turn is derived from Hindu Scripture like Shiva Purana, Which mentions 108 Hand Mudras, Supposedly taught by Buddha to his disciples.

Tantra and Mantra are all Sanskrit words, Originating in Hinduism, Way before Buddhism. Tantra -> Ritual / Technique Mantra -> Spell / Incantation All these words are first used in Hindu Scripture like Ramayana and Mahabhrata. Sita, the Main Female Character of Ramayan is protectd by a Tantric Barrier in a scenario. Ancient Archers like Rama, Arjuna and Krishna chanted Mantra while shooting their Magical Arrows which would transform into or alter the elements of Nature.

The Main Central theme of Hinduism is not to Worship Gods or Follow any Religious Duty but to preserve Dharma. Dharma in its simplest definition is "Universal Justice that benefits the Society in the Long run". Dharma is based on Satya and Rakshana (Truth and Protection of Innocent Lives). Proud to be a Hindu Atheist
