This can include overlooking issues such as gender inequality or religious extremism in the name of cultural sensitivity. An Example is how Leftists in India overlook the fact that Muslim women are FORCED to wear Burqas, But instad argue in favour for it as "Women's Rights" or when they overlook Islmaic Terror incidents and justify it by Victimizing the Terrorists, Instead of calling them out. Thus, It is suggested to call these Fake people as - "Regressive Leftists". They are trying to Regerss our Society and take it back by 1000s of years, instead of promoting Progressive Leftists values like Justice, Equality and Freedom. The only Irony here is, It requires a Right Wing Hindu Nationalist like me to remind these Leftists their own Values. The Left in India has regerssed so much from the orignal Leftist Values of their Counterparts in France or U.K, That they have become shadows of their former Role-Models like Voltaire or Jefferson or Roosevelt. So its natural that Left is being rejected today esepcially because of their close association with Islam.
