The Land of Manipura is mentioned in Mahabharata. Not just Manipur but Arunachal Pradesh (Bheeshmaka) and Nagaland (Nagalok) are also mentioned. If Greek History begins with Trojan War, If Christian History begins with Jesus who was a Fictional Figure with no Proof of existnece, If Islamic Histruy begins with Prophet's Night journey on flying horse and Angels, Whta makes you think Hindu Histor yin this Subcontiennet begins with 1500 A.D or 1947 A.D ? To be unbiased, we should go by Mahabharat and Ramayana as History of Indian Subcontinent.
