  1. The world's climate has changed at an enormous rate over the past 150 years. However you feel comfortable in accepting that fact, just know that it is. The premise that "we caused it, we can fix it" may be, at this point, a pipe dream, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. People speak of the enormous cost of the necessary changes without considering the costly burden of doing nothing. Mass migration of humans is occurring because of this. How long until Americans affected by changes need to move around? What will it take?
