  4. I'd say the Ds are kingmakers right about now. Matt and his pirates won't vote for anyone the rest will vote for. The rest won't vote for anyone Matt supports. Stalemate. Each side needs dem support. Oof.

  5.  @Veritas-invenitur  Or, it could be that he made a deal with the Ds already on the condition he doesn't get expelled because of his ethics inquiry. Could be that. Kevin was mad at Matt. He had almost enough votes to expel, only needing 6-8 Democrats. Who cut the deal with the Ds quickest? I'd say Matt did.

  6.  @Veritas-invenitur  There are constant power struggles in DC. Maneuvers and counter-maneuvers., with everyone trying to get something. You may disagree, but I see democrats actually govern, while republicans mostly wrestle for power.
