@daveruckert7926 Dave, what I think is that this mass migration of people was predicted years ago and yet no actionable solutions have yet been proffered by any politicians. A wall? A weak and expensive bandaid which has been and would be defeated rather quickly. Paying off the Mexican government to stall them just on the other side? That didn't do much, did it? Any real solution is going to require a long-term strategy and is likely going to get rather expensive.

@daveruckert7926 Build a time machine and stop Ronnie Reagan and HW Bush from screwing up Central America. We are paying for the sins of the father... Fun fact: Fox reporter Sara Carter was reporting on tunnels beneath the SanDiego border wall in 2005. Asa Hutchinson took this info before Congress back then because she reported middle-eastern and Chinese were using the tunnels to get in. What has Congress done about this in the past 17-18 years? Nothing. What is my solution? Barter with the Mexican government and pay off their officials more than the cartels will. We could go to war against Mexico I guess, to rout the cartels, but we'd look an awful lot like the Russians at that point, wouldn't we?
