Interesting tidbit: right now there is a federal court case reviewing whether the gun law of which Hunter was just comvicted is a violation of 2A. The outcome could free many of this charge. Hunter also. He agreed to never again own a weapon and could have that right returned. That's a good thing, yeah?

@goldbud2287 Welp, when you have already repaid what you owed, including penalties and interest, they usually don't even prosecute that charge. Hunter did that. Take it in front of a jury and they'd wonder why they were even there.

@goldbud2287 About 20 years ago, the government had what they called a tax amnesty month. Go in, fill out the paperwork, no penalties and not even interest. The reason so many wanted to see Trump's taxes is that it has been the norm since Nixon. And he said he would, but then he stalled and obfuscated. It made a lot of folks genuinely curious.
