  2. What you don't realize is that the ones who voted no knew they could because they knew that their colleagues would vote yes. You think they don't have intra-party communication? They had cover to vote no and could gain political capital for their reelection campaigns....

Live your life as Jesus tells you to in the NT and don't stress about things you cannot control. You can't change a thing in this world except how YOU exist within it. Love thy neighbor, treat the least among you as if they are Jesus...

  9. I believe it has said that for around 2,000 years or so. Why do you think today is the day? I think someone in the 16th century read the same passage and said to himself "today is the day this comes true"...and probably someone in the 23rd century will say the same.
