  6. Individualism and choice have always been basic ideals of American tenets. This has nothing to do with partisan politics. It is why these power grabs by Republicans fail in deeply red states. Kansas and Kentucky will likely continue to elect Republicans, and yet they will always reject restrictions.

  7.  @MultiShoveit  I don't buy the idea that a majority, anywhere, is ready for a national divorce. Any talk like that is just sour grapes from a minority of people wanting "their team" to claim power. Most Americans don't scare easily.
