Do you believe it is just college age kids who speak this way? I have heard folks in their 30s who have a difficult time speaking in complete sentences. Texting and social media are worsening the problem, as communication devolves into something like shorthand. And now I officially sound like my father and grandfather speaking about my own generation....

Should the draft age be raised accordingly as well? I am of the generation for which it was lowered. I could be drafted and yet couldn't vote for the president who may or may not send me to war. I would never want the same for anyone else.

@notawildthingy Well, here's a question for you: you think that 18 year olds are not capable of selecting a president and yet you think they are and should be capable of training, operating various weapons systems, running operations and dying so that you don't have to? Defending your freedom to make asinine statements on social media from the comfort of your basement? Of course you do.

@icanbreathenow1 Being mature means realizing that making (or screaming) asinine statements does absolutely nothing to change reality. Want change, real change? Close yer yap and get to work to make the change you want to see. Howling at the moon never changed its orbit. And kid, I've been a homeowner and parent for longer than you've been alive.
