@AndrewPriester Well, first off they could stop being reactive and become more proactive in dealing with the problems caused by the changing weather patterns. That would be a start.

@AndrewPriester My OP was a sarcastic dig at when climate change denialism became a standard for the Republican party as a political, not scientific reason. Now, everyone who supports Republicans feels the need to deny the very obvious effects based on feelings rather than facts. Reality is that the Republicans will suffer electoral defeat in the future because of their stubborn-headed wrong take on this. The biggest problem is that they'll block the advantages of dealing with it now. Kicking a can down the road has never been a solution.
