@danialhillmann5374 Oh, I am not saying that the created system of taxation in the US is fair. In fact I think the TCJA was just the latest example of transferring wealth upwards. I do though, support paying taxes for things I use. Having public services such as roads, bridges, police, and firemen privatized is lunacy. I even think healthcare and higher education should be publicly funded.

Not exactly true, but I do live at 8,500 feet elevation. Not a white Christmas for much of the lower 48.

You can be taxed very little in Somalia. There isn't much in the way of services or safety there... but hey, lower taxes!

@danialhillmann5374 Can you imagine paying a for-profit company to use roads and bridges? The company would absolutely need to be for-profit because it would require investors for the required capital. Cost of use would rise because of the necessary premium to be paid as profit for investors. It is like our current healthcare insurance wherein companies are allowed to keep 20 cents of every dollar paid...10 cents for administration and 10 cents for profit for investors.

@danialhillmann5374 Well danial, you have to live somewhere. I can't think of a place on earth where you get to make all the rules. Perhaps you were just born a few hundred years too late.
