  3. Well, if you don't understand it's because you've never had that type of money to share with family. If you simply hand money to a family member they will get taxed hard. If you have an llc with them they can get money, but get taxed at a lower rate. See: any family with a lot of money. There are other ways, of course, but this is simple.
