  5.  @sophroniamason2730  Why? Because we suffered hundreds of years of unwanted "visitors" who "discovered" the land we already inhabited. To me these are alligator tears. Tough noogies.

  6.  @sophroniamason2730  Yeah, and I would bet none of the people crossing the border ever did anything to you. You choose to ignore history, I choose to ignore people whining today about exactly (well, actually it's a mere fraction) the same thing which happened to my ancestors. And is still affecting lives today. Ever been to a rez? Probably not, not many outsiders ever see them. After being hunted down and imprisoned my ancestors were forced to sign away the most valuable lands and were "given" instead the worst lands...the lands no settlers wanted. Do you know when WE got the right to vote in this country? 1924. Where is my home? The biggest rez. Do I currently live there? Nope, no opportunities, no infrastructure, no future. Do I still miss it? Sure, it's my home, my people. Am I some sort of radical or looking for reparations? Nope. Just don't look for me to cry about other immigrants who show up. What is interesting to me is that at least half of the new folks I have seen are obviously at least part native. And I think they have more right to wander this continent than a bunch of europeans.
