  2. Banks, we learned in 2008, will only stay within the boundaries we give them. And we gave them boundaries with Dodd-Frank and the Volcker Rule. But someone thought it a great idea to scale back those laws.... Any guesses who?

  3. Well well well...seems those deregulation chickens are coming home to roost. First the derailment, and now this bank failure. Maybe deregulating everything is NOT such a great idea???

  7.  @thatoneguy3055  Well, we have seen this movie before. Republicans and their donors love deregulation. Most Fox viewers do not grasp what this can mean for their lives, but Fox does a great job of selling the idea that "those dems want to control your lives", when in reality Democrats spend a lot of time fixing what Republicans break. This video and the other two on the subject of banking either ignore the deregulation or deny its impacts. This country would be much further ahead without the Fox influence. And, already Murdoch has chosen his next knight...

  10. Someone dropped the stress test requirements. Even Forbes (Forbes!) says this was one reason regulators didn't see this.
