This incident reminds me of the Colarado mass shooting that took place in the movie theatre on the theatrical realease of the Batman film where the guy dyed his hair orange and looked like the joker. He probably took inspiration from that, just like how some kids that shoot up high schools look to Columbine. It's mentally ill individuals that need psychiatric intervention.
