  1. For long-term relationships, the couple should share a mutual language or it'll be extremely difficult to bond. Unless the foreign guy can converse in Korean or the Korean girl can speak English, it will likely not work. The phenomenon of interracial marriage is much more prominent in the West since the language barrier is less of an issue and East Asian countries like Korea are very racially homogenous so the perception of beauty is different.
