  1. I think the opposite of his analysis is true. Metro holds all the leverage here because they know their minimum wage workforce can only sit idle without receiving a paycheque for so long before they're forced to return back to work. Metro can afford to take the hit in lost revenue for the duration of the strike if their reported profits are to be believed. It will be cheaper for them to hold out and play the long game than to cave and increase wages by an additional $2/hr.
