  1. The only purpose of history is to provide some good tableside reading. Technology is changing the world so much there is not much to be learned from history especially premodern history.

  2.  @christineshotton824  What exactly could they learn from history? If we look at any history before WW2 it is basically useless as the entire world order was different.
