  1. As the world’s longest and the last continuous civilization, China is and will always be good for the world. The crazy and disruptive Trump administration in the US have 2 years left, maybe shorter, if he gets impeached at some point. America has gone insane.

  2.  @Ptolemy336VV  You fail to recognize the problem that just because most westerners think in imperialistic terms about the world - disrupt, divide and conquer, colonize, loot, or just simply destroy those who can't be colonized - it does not mean the Chinese think in the same way, quite the opposite actually, and this is why China is the only long lasting continuous civilization for 4,000 years and going... what we have in China is plenty enough to support ourselves, but in today's world, for all countries, it is all about trade, not about political system or belief... As for the S. China Sea subject, it is about national sovereignty, neither the US nor any other country in the world can change that, not even Trump is crazy enough to risk an all out war to come to China's doorsteps and challenge the Chinese resolve to defend it's territory. How about we send the Chinese Navy or Air force to patrol in coastal California or Florida? You're nuclear? We're nuclear! You have children that you want to raise in peace? You may send some ships or planes to come near, and we'll drive you away every time, but that's about it. We Chinese think in terms of the most pragmatic and realistic terms while most westerners are egotistical and wishful-thinking. We are very patient but we never forget about history.

While I respect Greek culture and its contribution to the western world, where is Greece in today’s world standing? It’s economy? Its technology? It’s military? Anything? We the Chinese people, the country of China, our history, our culture, our food... are all still intact and flourishing. You better come up with something convincing or equivalent. Try harder!

And as far as your opinion about Greek vs Chinese culture, that’s just your own opinion, nothing more. The fact is you cannot compare Greece to China. Greece today is small, poorly administered, and bankrupt sold most of its debts to the Germans and we the Chinese own much of that debt as well. Enough said.
