@tulips1916 I don't know but I have lost 3 friends and family now to covid with one more on a ventilator, 2 were young and healthy, one was older

@abinmmj while I agree that most masks aren't totally effective, but it does slow the spread, I'm sure you have seen the charts on how one single person can infect hundreds of others in a matter of weeks by multiplying the number of people that then spread it. Sure it wouldn't stop all spread but it will keep hospitals from being overwhelmed of ICU beds, if masks just reduces the number by 50 percent that is a lot of spread stopped

@Addictedtoprotein it wasn't one kid. It is at least 400 children that have died from covid at this point, but this is the point too. If we can get kids to wear them then they will cut down the chance of spreading to the venerable kids

@anthonyortiz6707 these are all true things you stated, but in the time of a pandemic it just makes sense to try and have children wear the masks as much as possible just to cut down on the spread. I understand that most children wouldn't die from the virus but many have parents with poor health or elderly grandparents. There is no way to make kids wear masks all day in school but if they do it enough to help stopping the spread it could have a large impact
