@maxcovfefe thank you for that very informative comment, Switzerland is one of the countries I would love to visit or even live because they are always on the top of the list of best places to live. I agree the American system on firearms is so wide open that anyone at anytime can get a gun with little to no problem. I have no problem with hunting rifles or long guns but when it comes to the high capacity, high velocity weapons they are made for one purpose, to kill as many people as quickly as possible with no need to aim just spray. These times of political theater of each side believing the other side is the problem create a powder keg with a short fuse and fire arms everywhere. I wish we had Northern European standards on regulations because it makes so much more sense. I don't know if there is an answer at this point because people see it as a right not a privilege with responsibilities to weapons that can take lives in the blink of an eye.
