  5. Is Lyx still going? It's a word processing type interface that exports to LaTeX that kinda gives you the rough appearance of what you're going to get (WYSIWYM). Edit: Yes it is.

  8. Yes. As Lunduke says, it's vastly improved though I do have to pop back to Google every now and then (and more often for images and every time for maps). They do offer Google results mixing but I'm deliberately making an effort to not turn that on.

  9. Among many other woke problems, it seems companies feel entitled to use the woke virtue signaling as cover for bad behaviors like invading privacy and selling or stealing (AI) personal data or indulging their foot fetish with minors.
