  1. The virus is probably the least thing to fear, shutting society down is the worst. We have all been sick, we will all die at some point in the future, this has to be moderated with careful risks taken. It's very easy for the government to demand that we sacrifice and do as they say because they are the last effected. It's amazing how fragile economies are when people start giving into fear.
