  1. If human trafficing is illegal why not simply petition the government to add bride=pricing to those laws? For many families they're simply selling off their daughters to boost their sons.

  2. The thing of it is that most of the men that can actually afford the bride-price ARE NOT the tall handsome dominating CEO that women fantasize about. They initially agree to marry because the money and gifts are very enticing, but they have no interest in the men that can provide them. Many divorce or make it so miserable the man leaves, now they'll just try this new trick.
