  2. Putin is such an ignorant person, he has no ideology, nothing to unite people around, other than nationalism. As always nationalism works well, when you "conquer" Crimea, when you bomb "terrorists" when you champion Christianity against Islam, when you claim superiority of Russian over the black people, you are certainly touching people's feelings and getting their support. But we r in 21st century, nationalism is so outdated, and we 've come to realize all nations are equally human. being russian, or white, does not make a person superior to others. Putin is Fascist.
