I defected to Sweden where I had to wait THREE years to get my LEGAL immigrant visa 4 CDA, that's how long it takes to come to CDA (USA as well) as LEGAL immigrant. Can ppl swim across the Atlantic? "others are economic refugees" They are called MIGRANT WORKERS and officially do not qualify as LEGAL immigrants.

  2. @KhmerD0g Buddy, that's about ILLEGAL immigration, either is France, anywhere in EU, CDA or USA, nobody opposes ppl who apply ABROAD to LEGALLY immigrate to a new country. Again, against ILLEGAL immigration only, got it?

Reagan done that in the late '80s and since then another 15 MILLION NEW ILLEGALS, 99% from MX. 1) Why those 15 MILLION ILLEGALS should be given legal status, what's so "special" about them? 2) How can you make sure 100% that no more illegals would come over the border after the amnesty? 3) What do you tell ppl who have come to USA LEGALLY after waiting YEARS abroad, from E EU or Asia? Are they just a bunch of suckers?

Welcome to come to America at ANY time but as a LEGAL immigrant except when you can officially prove you have escaped political dictatorship and/or war zone in your home country, these are the only refugees accepted under the Geneva Convention. ZERO such reasons for a refugee claim from ppl anywhere south of US border, the only reason for them coming to US is living in poor countries (MX one of them) and US is a very rich and developed nation plus a very poor US-MX border. I'm Canadian btw.

You want OPEN BORDERS, right? NO freakin' way unless you hate USA which most of the ILLEGALS do. Plus most of the "latino" ppl do not recognize southern USA as part of USA, they've never accepted losing TX (The Alamo), California is called Baja California (and not just the one south of San Diego), same for AZ & NM.
