  1. Canada, in 2003 Ontario and then 2005 on the Federal level, 75% of Canadians OPPOSED same-sex marriage but the courts IMPOSSED it on the ppl. Why the Finish Courts do not IMPOSE it on the Finish ppl as well? Why any Finish same-sex couple on their own does not go to court, lawyers paid by ALL Finish taxpayers, and ask the Courts to ORDER the Finish Govt to change the definition of marriage? And again, why EU media focuses on USA same-sex marriage debate and not same debate in Finland as well?

Same for Canada. Those 9 UNELECTED judges will decide IF same-sex marriage stays illegal OR becomes legal at the FEDERAL level. Civil unions are legal (job & pension benefits) in all 50 states but s-s marriage illegal in 41 states. 75% of EU, Finish ppl as well, see USA as a homophobic bigoted country but FIN: NOT. WHY?

"We have had civil registered partneship since 1.2.2002" Everywhere in USA as well, fully legal in each 50 states, BUT everywhere around the world, EU as well, USA is seen as a homophobic bigoted society b/c same-sex MARRIAGE is not legal at all at the national (federal) level. Therefore again: is Finish society a homophobic bigoted society as well? Why EU media follows very closely the USA same-sex MARRIAGE debate but not Finish same-sex MARRIAGE debate as well? I'm not a Catholic btw.

Or the EU Human Rights Tribunal? So why only in Canada and USA, Courts making laws, but not in EU as well?

"but here in Finland Finnish courts can´t give orders to the Finnish Parliament what comes to lawmaking" Everybody in EU, Euronews comments as well, uses the words bigot and homophob when it comes to America not allowing same-sex marriage to be legal, is Finland a homophobic bigoted nation as well?
