  1. I guess it's way better and easier to be on welfare around rich and prosper nations who hopefully will fund all your social program spending than fight it out on your own. Serbia, like Greece, Portugal, Spain, other poor EU nations, needs EU more than EU truly needs Serbia. But it's a long shot until Serbia is part of EU ZONE as well. After GR fiasco I don't think GE or FR or UK really need any more 'spare a change' type of economies among them.
