  1. I am frankly utterly sceptical of Taliban given their past history of misogyny and strict implementation of Sharia . Bamiyan Buddha structure for example was blown apart being unislamic . Further Pakistan’s proxy rule in Kabul could aggravate the fragile peace within West Asia and Central Asia too . India never had a central role to play in Afghanistan due to its geographical location and our so called neighbour on its Western front . India’s investment in Chabahar port to reach Afghanistan will also have to be put on hold subsequently.
