Meenakshi Lekhi isn’t an articulate speaker at such forums . Although , barrister by profession yet the way she was reading out her speech felt like a text book read ! Secondly , Why Oh Why has India to rebut our neighbours every time ? Isn’t it better just to shrug off - their army parroted line - ignore and cold shoulder .

@GururajBN My comment was not about the speech being extempore or not ! It was about the way she kept reading and reading as if from a text book without even looking up once … Yes , all speeches are vetted by MEA is a known fact but the person delivering the speech also needs to be articulate enough in a public forum .

Quite agree with your comment. This is a never ending ‘ tamasha ‘ every time at some international conferences either at UN or elsewhere….
