  2.  @dr.mund0339  Birdo. Ever read the Super Mario 2 instruction manual? The English manual for Super Mario Bros. 2 refers to Birdo as a male "who thinks he is a girl" and would prefer to be called "Birdetta." In recent years, Birdo has been fully acknowledged as female. In other video game related lore, the female character from Final Fight named Poison has a complicated history as well. They didn't like the optics of male fighting characters beating up women in a video game, they essentially made her transgender, because apparently beating up transgender women is somehow better. Since then, the character of Poison has been officially declared to be a post-op transsexual woman.

  3.  @dr.mund0339  Fun fact, but the characters in Mario 2 are technically not canon as the entire game was apparently just a dream that Mario had. How are they supposed to know that there's a trans character in the game if they never played it? You're shaming people for not wanted to be associated with a franchise created by a anti-trans bigot. That said, I have no interest in Harry Potter or MMOs, so I will probably never play it...even though I a few MMOs in my collection.

  5.  @dr.mund0339  That's on them then. You can't apply a label to an entire group of people just because you don't like them. I don't label all republicans racist psychopaths who want to erase entire groups of people from existing, but that seems to be the core philosophy the Republican party. And the only reason JK has trans people in "her world" now is because other people added them just to spite her. As you said in a previous statement, she was not affiliated with the new Harry Potter game.
