For people born rich, you must first prove we aren't brains in jars then have each word weighted and finally, you need a smocking gun, 5 witnesses and a nod from a unicorn at which point it goes through costly, year long procedures and finally, if all the planets aligned, they have to sign a deal which gives them a behind doors tap on the wrist with no criminal charges. Meanwhile, blacks in a car got shot by the police because a message said blacks in a car had done a shoot through nearby. Now remember all those "tough on crime" people? What they meant was "tough on the poor and middle class".

Trump is a racist (and much more to add here) but while scapegoating was (and is) used to shield the right from the consequences of it's policies and motivate racists, the reality is that after having had the presidency for 8 years, the dem party felt obliged to tout their achievements and sets of data that supported that view... meanwhile, the country was struggling and dems (bar Bernie) had little to say about that while trump, running as a repub, was, without a clue, attacking that data and proposing ridiculous solution, clearly, but at least he had something to say about that while HRC was running on "I'm with her"... a slogan that gave no hope to all the people struggling. That is how the dem party dropped the ball. Yang, Bernie and so on focus on the struggle of those people while the dem empty suits peddle platitudes from a seat (Buttigieg) or from a table (Beto) or from Comcast headquarters (Biden). Yang 2020 because trump is just a symptom and the US needs to focus on the actual problems and come up with actual solutions.
