  5. or maybe india didn't fight because Britain was so much stronger even with a small garrison and india was tired of losing so many people to famines, lack of medicine, lack of transpportation, perpetual wars between rajas and the whole country going nowhere until the British Empire put it back on track, gave it a democracy, technology, organization, peace, trade, end of slavery, end of burning women alive at the death of their husbands etc  @PraneeI

Exact same scenario: politicians sign horrible deals with china (and totally not in exchange for bribes!!!!), indebt then bankrupt their country, then china takes valuable parts of their country and starts piling police, spies there before using it for military purposes... expect "research" vessels soons.
